Percentage Based Discounts | New Regpack Release | Feature Update

Regpack Feature Updates: Scheduler & Security - Regpack

Our latest release is a big one! We’ve updated our discount features to include percentage based discounts. And setting up discounts just got easier.

How to create percentage based discounts in Regpack’s system.

To create a discount, simply add a new product under Settings –> Products –> Add New Product, select Discount and then select whether the discount is monetary or percentage based. The system will automatically calculate the discount for every user. You can choose whether the discount applies to the entire cart or a specific set of products.

Additionally, this release cleaned up some of our autobilling functions and introduces a part of our new design for the backend. It is also now possible to see discounts and cart allocations immediately.

The development team and I have been working hard to get discounts just right, so you can use them how you need to!

Andrew, our Head of Support, put together this quick overview video so you can see how easy it is to set up discounts in a Regpack system.

If you are a current Regpack client and have any questions about setting up discounts in your project, feel free to email support@regpacks.com and let us know how we can help!

Discount Resources

Discounts are a great way to bring in new business through marketing and incentivize your existing pool of clients.

Everyone loves a good deal, so offering a discount to register early, purchase an additional product or check out your new business is a great way to grow. Offering specific discounts for specific marketing campaigns is also a great way to see how well certain marketing channels are doing.

With Regpack’s registration software, you can filter users who used specific discounts, so you can see where your clients are coming from and what is worth your efforts and marketing dollars!

I wrote a great post on how to use discounts as a marketing tool. It’s also a great idea to check out what your competition is doing and offering so you can make the most of discounts!
